Hi everyone, I’m Jax! I’ve been a part of RevIVe Wellness for 2.5 years now, and my journey has been nothing short of life-changing.
When I first joined RevIVe, my daughter Joslyn was just a baby. I was searching for a new outlook on health, not just for me, but for her too. I’ll be honest: I felt completely lost and overwhelmed. I didn’t know where to start, I just knew I wanted better for both of us.
One day, while scrolling through Facebook, I came across a post from Loren: “I am looking for help.” That post changed everything. It became the first step on my path to wellness.
Shifting My Mindset
When I started at RevIVe, I was overwhelmed! Not only by how much there was to learn, but also by how much I had never been taught in nursing school. We had brushed over vitamins briefly in school, but nothing at the depth Loren knew. My entire background was in modern medicine and treating sick patients in hospitals. This was different. This was about prevention, balance, and healing naturally.
Loren gave me a book called “Vitamized Health: Your Pathway to Optimal Health Using IV Vitamin Therapy.” At first, I questioned everything I read. Could vitamins really play such a powerful role in healing? But the more I read, the more intrigued I became.
As if the universe wanted to confirm it, my social media feeds started filling with content about vitamins and minerals. Creator after creator shared stories about their benefits. One vitamin, in particular, caught my attention and has since become my favorite: magnesium.

Why Magnesium?
After having my daughter, I struggled with anxiety, much of it centered around health. Working in the ER had left me with a heightened awareness of the “what ifs,” and it began to consume me.
That’s when I learned about magnesium and its role in calming the nervous system. Magnesium regulates neurotransmitters, lowers cortisol, relaxes muscles, and improves sleep. But not all magnesium is created equal. My go-to is magnesium glycinate, with a typical dose being 200–400mg daily, best taken in the evening.
For racing thoughts or anxiety, magnesium L-threonate can be an option. And for sore muscles or sleep support, I also love using magnesium spray or lotion, especially on my feet at night.
The Big Picture
Everyone’s wellness journey looks different, and that’s okay. For me, it started with one small change, one step at a time. That’s the beauty of this path, it’s not about a quick fix. It’s about creating habits, finding balance, and continuing to grow.
If you ever feel overwhelmed or unsure of where to start, remember: that’s exactly how I began too. What matters is that you start, because every small step adds up to a healthier, calmer, stronger you.
Much love,
Jax 🤍
